Jekka's HerbFest 2023 is still fresh in our minds and it was wonderful to see so  many people who had visited us before but also those who are new to the world of herbs and gardening.

We are regularly asked about growing herbs in small spaces and especially on balconies or window sills. Growing herbs on a balcony or window sill is a fantastic way to bring the joys of gardening into your home. At Jekka’s, we believe there is nothing more enjoyable than nurturing your plants, watching them grow and seeing the pollinators they attract.

Jekka's Summer Cocktails

Inspired by Mark Diacono's talk and demonstration at Jekka's HerbFest, Jekka has come up with two refreshing herb-based cocktails with two herbs in abundance at this time of the year.

Jekka's August Open Days


Do you wish to create a balcony herb garden or some refreshing cocktails for your summer BBQ? Then come along to Jekka’s Open Days in August on Friday 4th & Saturday 5th August.

They are a wonderful opportunity to purchase plants from Jekka's collection of over 400 culinary & medicinal herbs. During the Open Days Jekka will be sharing her award-winning knowledge of growing and looking after herbs. Come and find out some new tips and tricks as well as some interesting herby facts. Jekka's team will be on hand to answer all your herb related queries.

You will also be able to explore Jekka's Herbetum, view Jekka's Herb Garden, our shop will be selling herb seeds and herbal infusions and the cafe will be open for a slice (or two) of cake.
