Hear award winning Jekka McVicar's talk - "Maintaining your Herbs: cutting back, splitting and potting".
Talks will be held twice daily at 11am and 2.30pm on each day - no need to book, just turn up.
This is a great opportunity to browse and buy herbs and seeds (usually only available by mail order), and also our larger range of specimen herb plants. You can learn more about how to grow organic herbs,and how to use your herbs in the home.

We also create special herb displays for our open days. These demonstrate how different herbs complement each other and what looks good at different times of year, as well as offering planting suggestions for you to recreate in your own garden.
We’re open to the public on each of these days from 10am until 4pm. Entry is free on the Friday, whilst on Saturday and Sunday the entry charge is £2 per person. Catalogue holders, members of the RHS, Gardeners' World, West of England Herb Group and the Soil Association also receive free entry on all days for two people. You can place orders for collection at any open day, simply allow at least 48 hours notice.
Please note this is a working farm with some rough ground, so care should be taken when walking round the site. No dogs, no smoking and no eating or drinking is allowed. The farm is closed to the general public at all other times, unless prior arrangements have been made.
