Private guided tours around Jekka’s Herbetum,
hosted by Jekka McVicar.
With the Herbetum being an inspiration to such a diverse range of interests we now host private group visits for garden groups to corpoate companies. Over the last year we have welcomed many visitors to the Herbetum, not only from the UK but also from all over the world including Singapore, Australia, America and Japan. Our visitors cover a wide spectrum of interests, from gardeners, landscape designers and cooks to perfumers, food manufactures, vets and zoo keepers.
These tours are personally hosted by Jekka McVicar and usually take just over an hour. After the tour your group will be offered light refreshments of homemade cakes, herbal teas and coffee. You then have the opportunity to browse our nursery and purchase herb plants from our vast collection that we propagate and grow on the farm. Our experienced and helpful staff will be on hand to advise on suitability of any potential purchase. You will also be able to buy Jekka’s books, seeds and herbal teas from our farm shop. We recommend that you allow at least 2hrs for your visit.
Jekka’s Herbetum is located in the beautiful South Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds, just north of the M4/M5 interchange, near to the old Severn Bridge. Perfectly located between Bristol and Cardiff, and only a short drive away from Bath.
