Jekka's Herb Farm Staff Vacancies
At Jekka's Herb Farm we aim to inspire people to grow and use herbs as well as to gain knowledge about the power of herbs. We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Manager to join our team who is keen to learn and develop new skills. As the Office Manager you will work alongside a small horticultural team in an evolving role which will include:
Customer and Supplier liaison; Web management including data inputs and Social media campaigns; Marketing both online and assisting in the production of leaflets and other material; Supporting Jekka by managing her diary and coordinating and assisting at Open Days, Workshops and Garden tours; Managing mail order including postage, stock levels, invoices and payments; Packing seeds; Printing plant labels and seed packets.
Flexibility and the ability to work on a variety of tasks
Liaising with customers in support of sales
Computer savvy and ability to understand/learn/operate our various
Software packages, namely Microsoft Office and Outlook
Shopify (On line shop), and Xero Accounts (orders and invoices),
Mailchimp (newsletters), and Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
Use of Social media for marketing purposes
Previous experience working in a commercial nursery
Previous sales experience.
Working hours: 39 hours per week and must be prepared to be flexible to meet operational and visitor requirements.
Contract: Permanent position
Interview process: Successful applicants will have a phone interview with Jekka followed by an on-site interview including meeting the team.
Salary: Pay according to experience.
