The following pages lists all of the herbs featured in our Herbetum. Our herb plants are available for purchase direct from the farm at our Open days or by Collection, by prior arrangment. All of our herbs are propagated and trialled at the herb farm and grown for the British garden. Available in 1lt and 2lt pots.

PG01 Galega officinalis Goats Rue, French Lilac

Fully hardy perennial, Ht. up to 1.5m. Racemes of mauve or white pea like flowers in summer. The alternate leaves are pinnate with 4 to 8 pairs of oblong leaflets. Medicinal plant used to treat digestive problems.

PG02 Galium odoratum Sweet Woodruff

Fully hardy perennial, Ht. up to 30 cm. Clusters of small white flowers in spring. The aromatic leaves are narrow and lance shaped. 6-8 leaves grow around each stem in a complete circle. Traditional medicinal herb.

PG06 Glycyrrhiza glabra Liquorice

Fully hardy perennial, Ht. 1.5m. Pale blue/violet pea like flowers in summer. The large green leaves are divided into oval leaflets. The root is used medicinally.
